Man. I knew it was rampant online, but I had no idea it was being embraced by the Church to that extent. I can't say I'm surprised, though. It seems like most seminaries stopped teaching sound interpretation and hermeneutics a long time ago and now they're just indoctrination machines.
I had a professor (from my Bible college) speak at my old church several months back. He's a retired missionary. And HE brought this theory up as fact. Claimed it was not real Jews in Israel. Sigh. I walked out. So I found a great church 30 minutes away.
