Will, I like you, and I mean all of this in love, but I'm going to be blunt. Yeah, this is blasphemous. This is, essentially, a blend of ancient heresies called Gnosticism and Dualism.

In this space, the Bible is held up as the objective standard of truth by which all other truth claims are measured. In this space, that is not up for debate. The core mission of this publication is to uphold Biblical truth. In this space, the person and work of Jesus Christ as the only Son of God and the Second Person of the Trinity is also not up for debate. You have your own space for that, and I respect your space. I ask the same respect for my space and my beliefs.

But because you brought this into my space, I'm going to feel free to be honest and forthright with you. It's the height of hubris to remake God according to your imagination because the "taught" version, the version He himself revealed through His inspired word, doesn't make sense. Although, if I understand correctly based on your own writings, you didn't make this up -- this was "revealed" to you by an entity you met on a DMT trip, and entity claiming to be Lucifer.

That entity is a liar.

First of all, there is no entity named Lucifer. Lucifer is simply Latin for "shining one," and it was how the Hebrew "helel ben shachar" -- shining one, son of the morning -- was translated in the Latin Bible. Most scholars believe helel ben shachar is a reference to the serpent -- the Nachash; a seraphim, not a talking snake -- a.k.a. Satan, the current little-g god of this world and prince of the culture. Some scholars, with good reason, believe that it's actually a reference to the chief of the Watchers who rebelled in Genesis 6 by coming to earth and fathering giants -- the Nephilim -- with human women.

In the first case, you would expect me to believe that Satan -- whom Jesus said is a liar and the father of lies -- set aside all of his plans for global domination and leading the Fallen in their continued rebellion against their Creator in order to hang out with you and be your buddy.

In the second case, the Watchers who rebelled are all bound in chains in Tartarus until the time of their judgment, so that guy definitely can't be your hitchhiker. It's far more likely that it's a lying demon -- a dead Nephilim who hates humans, loves jerking us around and ultimately wants to possess you because he hates not having his own body, which was destroyed in the Flood.

In either case, giving either of them equal, or even greater, status than my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is indeed blasphemous.

Now let's talk about who the Triune God actually is:

The Father is not pure light. He is the SOURCE of light. (Your "friend" Luci, by the by, is an expert at imitating pure light.) The Father is seated on the throne of Heaven. He is a spirit, but he has a spiritual body. He functions as the mind, or will, of the Godhead.

The Second Person of the Trinity is not a created being -- He is eternal, just as is the Father. Both are "I Am." In the Old Testament, He is the physical manifestation of God on the Earth, referred to as the Angel of the Lord. This is the pre-incarnate form of Jesus. This eternal member of the Triune Godhead came down to Earth and took on human flesh as a baby, becoming fully human while remaining fully God. He lived a perfect, sinless life while enduring every kind of human suffering, and He allowed Himself to be crucified as the ultimate Passover Lamb so that death, which infected humanity at the fall, would pass over all who put their faith and trust in Him, and so that we could be rescued from slavery to darkness and the rebellious Fallen realm and restored to eternal life and fellowship with the Father. He was raised to life on the third day as the first fruits and the proof of the resurrection that's promised to all who believe in Him, and He is currently seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven, serving as our mediator and high priest. Very soon, he is going to return to the earth to judge those who align themselves with your "Luci," put down all rebellion, return the Earth to its original Edenic state and establish His Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit is the spiritual presence of both the Father and Son, active both in the world, convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, and restraining the power and influence of Satan and the Fallen realm. He's also present within all who put their faith and hope in Jesus, working within us to bring about holiness and aiding and equipping us to live out our Christian lives on the Earth.

God is not engaged in a dualistic fight against darkness and evil. That's what Satan wants us to believe, because the reality is that he and his fallen minions are putting on a puppet show and playing both sides, "Dark" and "Light."

The Bible tells the story of three major rebellions, their lasting effects on the Creation, and God's ultimate plan of rescue and redemption. Genesis chapters 3, 6 and 11 (along with Deuteronomy 32 and the Book of Enoch) all relay what happened at each rebellion. In each case, high-ranking Angelic beings defied God and tried to take humanity down with them. Those beings have already been judged and sentenced to die like men, and they want to take as many of us with them before they go. When we joined them in their rebellion, we lost eternal life and cut ourselves off from fellowship with God, and we became enslaved to these fallen beings.

Jesus came the first time to satisfy the requirement of the Law, take the penalty for our rebellion upon Himself, and restore us to eternal life and fellowship with God, as it was intended from the beginning. When He returns the second time, He's going to carry out the sentence on the rebel angels and the humans who reject the salvation He brought and continue to align themselves with the rebels. And He's going to consummate the promise of immortality and face-to-face fellowship for those who belong to Him.

What does it mean to be made in God's image? It means that we have free will -- just as He is sovereign, in his Soveriegn will He gave us sovereignty over our own beliefs and choices. So as a free-willed imager of God, you of course have every right to reject everything I say. You probably think I'm deceived and brainwashed into my beliefs, but I believe you're gravely deceived by an evil spirit who wants to take you to Hell with it and deprive you of eternal life and fellowship with the true God, so I guess that's fair. I'll be praying for you, Will.

If you haven't completely made up your mind that you have the truth and you'd like to know more about these fallen entities, their mission, and Jesus' mission to rescue us from them, I hope you'll take the time to check out this seminar by Dr. Michael Heiser, who does a much better job than I of explaining it all.

Thanks for clarifying, and for being willing to move it. If this is worldbuilding for your fiction, that's cool, but it definitely doesn't belong here in my Bible teaching and ministry space. Thanks for understanding.

Don't get me started on pastors who run away from hard questions or uncomfortable conversations.
