Howdy Bereans,
We're still struggling with the sickness. I had a lot of things this morning that I wanted to say about discernment, but now that I have time to sit down and write it, I'm all out of energy and thinking power.
But I wanted to go ahead and share this discussion, which harkens back to what I've been saying in recent posts about frequencies and sound and dangerous teachings. These two ex-occultists bring up a lot of good points.
Hopefully, I'll get both the time and energy at the same time to say what I was going to say about discernment sometime in the next few days. Also, I finished reading Threshold Covenants, and I'm hoping to write up what I learned from that next week -- it'll be a fitting topic for Good Friday.
A note on that book, which I linked to last week: it's very good and informative, but at the end Trumbull drops a bomb about Adam and Eve that shook me up. After ruminating on that a bit, I don't believe his take on what happened in the garden is accurate, and I'm fairly certain that if that was really the ancient view as he claims, Dr. Heiser would have mentioned that at some point, expert in ancient Hebrew studies that he was. So I'm setting that aside until I come across more evidence for it. Sorry, not trying to be cagey -- I just want you to be warned in case you decided to read it.
That's all for now. Until next time, I hope you all have a blessed Holy Week.
Prayers for fast recovery!
